The Artec® High Flow V-Band manifold allows you to easily install a turbocharger with V-Band connection.
The manifold was designed to minimize internal volume to improve response and keep flow as high as possible. A reverse-rotating turbocharger was used for this purpose. However, this does not allow the use of tight radii. Turbos with standard rotation have the turbine inlet flange closer to the block, which often leads to space problems. Artec® has used a similar turbo design with the Reverse Turbo as Mitsubishi has done in OEM equipment.
This allows the turbo to be mounted low, not have to use tight bends, and keeps the manifold very compact.
The Evo manifold uses a 50-55 V-band system, so almost any Precision, Tial or Garrett turbo can be installed. The Wastegate flange is also designed to fit most 44/45/46mm wastegates.
